the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. They would personally escort delivery drivers and laundry staff to our room, and even helped us find change when needed. the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every morning by a diligent team of staff. the location was perfect, situated in the heart of Seminyak yet surprisingly quiet at night. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool and the lush greenery surrounding the property. The nearby breakfast options were fantastic, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

Comfortable, reasonably clean, good location.
Small rooms, shabby, old looking pool, bubble spa didn't work. and had already stayed at two cheaper and much more beautiful hotels in Ubud and Lombok.

We enjoyed the Balinese feel of the accommodation and the fact that it is small and contains individual villas, rather than a large hotel building. Inside the premises it felt relaxing and peaceful, even though there was busy traffic outside. Breakfast was great, particularly on the days that buffet was available. All staff were fantastically courteous and helpful and were a pleasure to deal with. They also respected our privacy and we appreciated that rooms were not serviced until we went out, even if we'd spent most of the day in our room and didn't go out until late afternoon or evening. The availabilty of kitchen facilities and the addition of a dvd player in the rooms added to our comfort and enjoyment.
Kitchen equipment was limited. We enjoyed the the open air shower but it would be good if insect screens could be added in some way. Although this is not authentically Balinese, it would help to reduce mosquito numbers inside the room and access from other wildlife (there was bird faeces around the shower tap fixture.). Telephones did not work well, but this could be a problem caused outside the hotel. The room service menu was somewhat limited, especially for hot foods for evening meals. Because of the location of the upstairs air-conditioning unit, when it was running we could hear air-conditioning noise in our room even if our system was turned off. This did cause some sleep disruption.

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The outdoor shower in the spacious bathroom was a standout feature. The service, from the helpful staff to the excellent massage services, was great. I had a peaceful and enjoyable vacation at this villa. I would definitely recommend it to others.

The rooms were beautiful as was the pool and the gardens. What a great find. The reception area didnt look that flash, which made the rest of the place an even better surprise. Staff were lovely and helpful. They also had computers for people to use too - a big help for us as we didnt bring a laptop.

The traditional balinese style of accommodation provided a wonderful start to the holiday for our children. The staff were very friendly and helpful in a quieter and more relaxed environment.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The hotel had a great location, close to popular attractions and easy access to transportation.- The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable.
The noise level in the hotel was quite high, especially from the rooms upstairs. It felt like sleeping outside with street noise, construction sounds, and even cooking odors from nearby restaurants.

Very silent and quite calm place amongst very noisy Seminyak. 10 minuts walking to the beach. Good breakfast (although not very varied). Good room service, cheap bar in the room, free safe box, tasty food in restaurant. Very friendly stuff. Everybody speaks english.Nice pool.
Room cleaning is a very long and disorganized process which disturb guests a lot. Nobody takes dirty plates, after a dinner, which were served on the terrace they were on the terrace table for the whole night and the next day. Fumigation against gnats are the very unpleasant process which they perform during the day (usually when guests are resting after the dinner). The sound and the smoke are unbearable! There are additional 3% which they take if you pay by card. Spa menu in the hotel is very poor and a therapist in the Spa is a bit lazy. It was very difficult to find her and to arrange a service. The half of the full rate was blocked on the card at the day of booking, what was not convenient.

I like the location, and the design of the villas from the outside. THe shower area is nice as well. THe omelette is nice for breakfast.
The staff are a bit slack. The pathway is dirty with mud and no one bothered to clean it. THe bedroom has been renovated and now resembles and upmarket jail cell with no character at all. THe aircon was turned on full blast with no regard for saving power and achieving a "cool" room, just chuck it on full tilt. The breakfast is so average. WIth nice fruit, no cereal choice to speak of. THe place needs some TLC to bring it back to what it once was - a very nice place to stay.

This villa is centrally located, making it convenient to access popular attractions such as Potato Head and various cafes and restaurants. the rooms are adequately sized with comfortable beds and effective air conditioning. the outside shower adds a unique touch and the gardens surrounding the property are beautiful.
The noise levels can be disruptive and the presence of mosquitoes in the room and outside bathroom can be bothersome.

The staff who assisted us on a daily basis were fantastic. Very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very good, the pool nice, rooms private and the location is really good with easy access to all of Seminyak. $3 taxi ride to Legian or half hour walk along the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here (10 nights) and had great fun at all the eateries and bars in Seminyak. Good value for money
Overall we really did enjoy our stay. Perhaps a word of advice would be to keep a check on your tab or pay as you go as we were a little dubious about some of the bills we had to pay on the last day. Might have been our fault but ..... The open air toilet shower is great fun but there was a bit of a smell and mossies can be a problem. We had a rodent visiting our room at night which didn't make for a pleasant feeling particularly for my wife. However, having said all that - I still enjoyed Putu Bali Villas.
